We had Ruth and Boaz conference over the weekend. Ruth and Boaz is a fellowship for widows, widowers, divorcees, single parents and singles above 35. Before Pastor Taiwo shared from Psalm 46 (My present help), I got to share a bit of my testimony. I encouraged those in attendance not to be discouraged by what people say about their various situations. I shared about how some people rejected me because I am from a single parent home. I didn't understand why they would shut the door to my face upon hearing my background. But now the reason is clear to me: None of them was my husband. I felt rejected then, but I was being preserved for my future. You might have put yourself in a vulnerable position and shared your story with someone but they have used it against you. Don't mind them, keep going. Let nothing rob you of the hope you have concerning God's promises in your life. God has reserved the best for you. What He has done for others, He will do for you whether you are a matured single, widowed, divorced or a single parent.#thedevilisaliar #enjoyyourlife #speaktheword
